Reporting directly to Aimee Wenske, XYIENCE’s brand and social media manager, Bermudez will work predominantly on the XYIENCE Brand Finder program that tracks locations carrying the brand, and ensuring that the brand’s website is updated with new retailers. With respect to the Power to Win Team, Bermudez will be developing new athlete challenges and coordinating team workouts.
A native of Las Vegas, Bermudez joined XYIENCE in September 2012 as a marketing intern while working to complete her degree at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV), and worked on social media and maintaining the company website. In December 2012, Bermudez was brought on as a part-time marketing assistant, working more closely with Wenske on sampling events and marketing campaigns.
“Melissa Bermudez has been a huge asset to XYIENCE,” said Wenske, who also launched her career at XYIENCE as a marketing intern while studying at UNLV. “During her internship she became invaluable to our team. We look forward to watching her continue to evolve in her career at XYIENCE.”
Bermudez received dual Bachelor’s degrees in business management and marketing from UNLV in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoys hitting the gym after a long day at work, reading a good book and spending time with family and friends.
