This is a Shirt Celebrates Launch With Party for the Ages

Innovative T-Shirt Brand Throws Startup Launch Party Unlike Any Other

SAN FRANCISCO - July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- This is a Shirt, LLC, a first-of-its-kind clothing brand offering custom t-shirts with stranger’s names printed on them, announced that they have recently finished cleaning up the mess from their raging launch party. Being a cash-strapped startup, the company could not afford to hire a janitorial staff, so the entire cleanup effort was in-house. In a similar vein, the company could not afford an office, so the party was also in-house: the house of the founder’s parents.

“Michael had a couple of his friends over last night and the basement was a pigsty this morning,” Julie Krakower, matriarch of the household said. Sources involved in the cleanup effort confirm that there were bleu cheese crumbles scattered about the carpet, and one large Mountain Dew stain on the sofa, to wit, the origin of many peepee pants jokes.

Insiders who attended the party were overwhelmingly impressed by the snack selection and quality of music. “The snacks were next level,” a guest said. “They had cool ranch and nacho cheese Doritos mixed together in the same bowl.” Music consisted entirely of the Dixie Chick’s 1992 album Little Ol’ Cowgirl playing on repeat. While the choice incited contentious debates among the guests as to whether Little Ol’ Cowgirl was in fact the Dixie Chick’s best album, general reception to the soundtrack was warm, especially given that the Dixies were the only chicks in attendance.

While officials from the company did not keep an official tally of how many guests attended the event, estimates range from 2-4.

“The party couldn’t have gone better. It was a smashing success and we hope the excitement carries over to fuel our launch into a bright and prosperous future,” founder Michael Krakower said.

About This is a Shirt, LLC: This is a Shirt offers unique socially inspired t-shirts on it’s custom website www.thisisashirt.com. The brand sells only one t-shirt at a time, featuring a design inspired by the name and location of the previous purchaser. Every time a new shirt is purchased, the design changes.
