TAKII Joins The Fun At J1-Con On 9/14/14!

UPPER DARBY, Pa. - July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- In 2011, a visionary by the name of Marion Beal held anime events in an entertainment store in Philadelphia, PA. She had dreams of taking it out of the store & expanding it. From there she joined with J1 Studios & created the J1 Studios Anime Event. After the consistent growth in numbers & recognition, it was time to give the event a name....J1 Studios Anime Experience, also known as the J1 An-Ex. At this time the "mother" of the J1 Studios Anime Events relocated to another state leaving the now J1 An-Ex in the capable hands of Brandon Battle (a J1 Studios PR rep) & the rest of J1 Studios to be the "father" of the J1 An-Ex events.

The legend continued & the popularity grew. The J1 An-Ex along with the name of J1 Studios continued to grow amongst fans of anime, card gaming, cosplay, & video gaming. Six successful J1 An-Ex "mini conventions" & 2 stellar J1-Cons later & it's evolving yet again to what is now J1-Con (2014) -- & what better way to celebrate this development than to invite The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational's TAKII World Tour along for the ride!? At the request of J1 Studios head honchos, our World Tour will be bringing J1-Con attendees a special version of a very popular fusion festival festivity: "TAKII Show: Remixed"!

TAKII SHOW: REMIXED
"The world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival"'s World Tour wouldn't be complete without its very 1st festivity (& most popular), the "often imitated, but never duplicated" "TAKII Show: Remixed"! Known as a premier Asian-themed vocal & talent contest in the realm of Asian culture fandom & respected for its lyric-free & Asian language focus, J1-Con's version of "TAKII Show: Remixed" will feature contestants battling it out in 4 rounds of chaotic awesomeness, including:

* ROUND 1: "SAY WTF KARAOKE: REMIXED"
o Contestants perform a song of their own choosing in the spirit of our original "Say WTF Karaoke".
* ROUND 2: JUDGE'S CHOICE
o Contestants perform a song as chosen by a guest judge(s).
* ROUND 3: PDNMZ: AMEN TALENT SHOWCASE
o Contestants show off their hidden talents....with some "help" (^_^).
* ROUND 4: DANCE TO DESTINY
o Contestants get a crash course Asian MV dance lesson.

There will be 4 very special judges, all experts in their fields, adding their own brand of "constructive criticism" to the mix. Scores will be based on a combination of a judge's numeric evaluation & audience support/applause. Reasons why a contestant's score can drop include, but are not limited to, the song not being in an Asian language, using lyrics when not permitted to do so, non-compliance with time limits, & lack of stage presence. Upon conclusion of the "TAKII Show: Remixed", the fans in attendance will choose who they believe should be crowned the ultimate winner. Then, the judges will add up their scores & declare who THEY think should the the "Show"'s winner! In the event that the audience & judges disagree on a winner, a super-secret & dramatic OMAKE ROUND will commence to break the tie. Once the competitive smoke has cleared, the ultimate champion will receive some sweet TAKII swag!
