Riverlight in Nine Elms on London's South Bank chooses Remeha boilers

310610-eco) boilers are providing energy-saving warmth and comfort at one of London’s most exciting new residential developments, the new Riverlight apartments designed by the world-famous architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners for property firm St James, part of the Berkeley Group.
Riverlight consists of six pavilions situated directly on the riverfront in the heart of the UK’s largest regeneration area, Nine Elms, on London’s South Bank. The quality design is matched by the quality heating. Four Remeha Gas 610-8 section boilers were specified by Building Services Engineers Rotary Building Services Ltd to meet the high efficiencies and low carbon and NOx emissions stipulated in the brief by St James. With a combined total output of almost 4,000 kW, the Remeha boilers are working in tandem with ground source heat pumps that provide chilled water and preheat the LTHW, and a CHP unit to deliver reliable, environmentally-
friendly heating from a central energy centre to the development’
s 806 apartments and penthouses.
The heating installation was carried out by Rotary Building Services Ltd (Southern). Operations Director Len Quy commented:“We specified Remeha boilers due to their quality, energy rating compliance, reliability and ease of installation and maintenance, which has been matched by their excellent service.”

) range delivers higher than average annual efficiencies of 109.35% NCV and ultra-low NOx and carbon emissions. The fully-assembled, free-standing, fully-modulating, high-efficiency, gas-fired condensing boilers are available with outputs from 69 to 1202kW. This ‘renewable-
ready’ range can be connected with both CHP units and renewable technologies for maximum efficiency.
