Prism Informatics Accomplishes First Milestone at A.Baur & Co

NAVI MUMBAI, India - July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Prism Informatics accomplished its first major milestone in a new SAP implementation at A. Baur & Co.  earlier this week. The milestone was recognized at the completion and sign-off of the project’s Blue Print phase. This implementation is estimated to bring in more than $300,000 in revenues for Prism Informatics in 2014-15.

A. Baur & Co., established in 1897, is one of Sri Lanka’s major importers and distributors of agro-chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals and textile dyes. They also boast a diverse range of services and offerings which include Industrial Machinery, Consumer Service Products, Specialty Chemicals and Travel services.

Prism’s implementation at A. Baur & Co. targets a range of organizational processes through different SAP components and modules such as SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Plant Maintenance, Production Planning, Process Integration and SAP Business Objects & SAP Manufacturing Information Intelligence.

Prism Informatics has seen a recent boost in its activities and services in the Sri Lankan markets, and is currently engaged in more than five major projects within the SAP field of business. One of the most recent successes in this market for Prism, was the SAP Go-Live at The Capital Maharaja Organization Limited this month. The Capital Maharaja Organization Limited is considered to be one of the largest groups of private sector companies in Sri Lanka.
