The 2014 Outstanding Women Leaders Awards Calls for Nominations!

July 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Sacramento, CA - The National Association of Women Business Owners Sacramento (NAWBO-Sac) invites its community leaders, business executives, business women, entrepreneurs, friends and family to submit nominations in seven (7) categories for its 17th Annual Outstanding Women Leaders Awards (OWL Awards).

The OWL Awards is a prestigious event established in 1997 to honor the achievements and accomplishments of some of Sacramento Valley’s most hard working and successful women entrepreneurs, who have excelled in business and community leadership.

On October 16th, 2014, members of Sacramento Valley’s influential business and leadership community, among many, will gather for the annual OWL Awards to honor these winners and learn from their inspiring stories. The event will be hosted by KFBK radio personality Kitty O’Neal; and will be held at The Double Tree Hotel in Sacramento.

The deadline for nominations is August 4th, 2014 and one woman will be chosen in each of the following categories:

Woman on the Way Award: Up and coming business owner, less than 5 years in business
Woman Innovator Award: Successful business owner in a non-traditional business
Luminary Award:
An individual lighting the way for others
Executive Woman Award:
Senior level corporate woman
Vision Award:
An organization whose vision provides opportunities for girls or women
Wise Woman Award:
Business Woman of the Year
Achievement Against All Odds:
Success despite unfavorable circumstances
