3DS NYC delivers an intense program for participants to understand the complexities of running a startup and how to be successful. The current class of 3DS Summer 2014 participants are coming from universities in Singapore, Colorado, Indiana, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, and from various colleges in New York state. The summer program also marks the first time the organization will include two high school students from New Jersey and Connecticut respectively.
“This is the first time we are delivering our startup education program in the summer,” said Desiree Frieson, lead organizer for 3DS NYC. “There was so much demand to do another one after the success of our Spring 2014 program, we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to teach more hopefuls what it takes to me a tech entrepreneur and to lift their ideas off the ground. The decision has led us to having a wide net of variety and we appreciate that.”
To continue with the excitement of the summer program, 3DS NYC has found a fantastic partner in the Bitcoin Center NYC and looks forward to working with two teams looking to launch a bitcoin related startup.
Other supporters of 3DS NYC include Hive at 55 run by the Downtown Alliance of New York, MAIP, an umbrella program of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and all local universities and colleges that helped recruit students and professionals for the current program.
