Kate and Corey to Appear on Episode 2 of The Electric Lunch Hour

ATLANTA - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Episode 2 of Season 1 promises to blow you away with Kate and Corey in one of the best live music venues in Georgia.

Dirty South TV is proud to announce that Kate and Corey will be on The Electric Lunch Hour  Friday, July 25th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.

Kate and Corey are Singer/Songwriters from Atlanta, GA. Together they've blended a world of influences (Americana, Blues, Country, Pop, Jazz and more) into a unique, upbeat "Soulful Power-Folk and Roots-Rock" sound. They’ve been compared to The Civil Wars and Shovels and Rope.

Pursuing music full time since 2011 has taken the songsmith-lovers on some amazing journeys. Starting with hungry afternoons playing on the streets of Buffalo, NY, leading all the way to the stage of the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. They were one of 5 finalists out of many thousands in the 2013 Texaco Country Showdown, shown on national television and hosted by Jewel.

In 2012, Kate and Corey packed up a two-door Chevy Cavalier and left Buffalo, NY for Atlanta, GA. Since then they've been building an enthusiastic following in Georgia and the surrounding states.

Their career has taken them all over the Southeast, and even to the Caribbean. That territory is expanding quickly after a 2013 tour, and looking toward another in 2014. From living room concerts to listening rooms, Rock bars to theaters, Kate and Corey are at home wherever music lovers gather.

Kate married Corey, with his blessing (or was it the other way around?), in June 2013. They had their first full band debut as Kate and Corey Quartet on their first anniversary and were very well received.

Now as a band, they are currently working on their second studio album and continuing to dream bigger and brighter than ever.

It's never been easy, but it's always been simple, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
