State Technical College of Missouri and Grantham University Sign Articulation Agreement

Agreement allows students who have completed associate degrees to transfer to corresponding bachelor’s degrees
 
LENEXA, Kan. - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Students are faced with countless options when it comes to choosing the right school in which to pursue their college education. Recently State Technical College of Missouri (http://www.statetechmo.edu/), located in Linn, Mo., the state’s only designated state-level technical college, signed an articulation agreement with Grantham University easing the transfer process between schools.

The articulation agreement is a 2+2 bachelor completion program which allows students who have completed any associate degree with a 2.0 GPA from State Technical College of Missouri to transfer into Grantham’s Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies degree program. Additionally, students who have earned their degrees in the following areas can transfer into a corresponding bachelor’s degree at Grantham:

·         Associate of Applied Science Business Systems Specialist to Bachelor of Science Business Administration or Bachelor of Science Business Management

·         Associate of Applied Science Electronics Engineering Technology to Bachelor of Science Computer Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Science Engineering Management Technology

·         Associate of Applied Science Computer Programming to Bachelor of Science Computer Science or Bachelor of Science Information Systems or Bachelor of Science Information Systems Security

Eligible members of State Technical College of Missouri’s faculty and staff have the opportunity to continue their education through Grantham at a reduced tuition rate for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.“State Technical College of Missouri is a wonderful institution that cares deeply about the potential of each of their students,” said Dr. Marilyn Bartels, Grantham’s provost. “Like Grantham, they are committed to meeting their students’ educational needs through the use of in-depth faculty-student interaction.
