MindSpan Publishing Announces the Launch of New, Fun-Filled App and Contest

CHICAGO - July 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Imagine you’ve just built the home of your dreams.  The only problem is you accidently built it in the middle of a vampire infested forest.  Now these fanged monsters and all of their ghoulish friends are determined to destroy it.  What do you do?

With ten exciting levels, players must defend their home from these evil creatures lurking in the spooky forest, doomed deserts, ghastly hills and more!  From crossbows to guns—these weapons will help players destroy their enemies.  Summoning the power of the sun, players can also beam down destructive bolts of rays to take out those annoying vampires.

“The inspiration for the game is the same as the inspiration for the company: trying to build something that's fun and innovative that pulls players worldwide into a game in ways that’s never been done before,” said Eric Nelson, CEO of MindSpan Publishing.  “The hero idea is the first of many new and unique player integration ideas that we have planned.”

To celebrate the app’s launch, Nelson says the company is holding a contest where one lucky player will actually be built into the game.  The contest begins on July 20, 2014 at 8 a.m. CST and ends on September 15, 2014 at 8 a.m. CST.

“That one player will be a ‘hero’ in the game and win $500,” stated Nelson.  “It's never been done like this before.  The game will launch and be available for purchase.  Simultaneously, the contest will then run. We will then select the best and most creative hero from the lot and then build them into the game.”

Designed for all ages, the games contain three difficulty modes: easy, medium and scary hard.  ‘Defend Your Dwelling’ is available on both Apple and Android devices for $2.99.
