SACRAMENTO, Calif. - July 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Do you find that week after week it is getting more challenging to find a job? Are you under qualified, over qualified, or somewhere in between? Have you gone on endless job interviews and still can’t secure that job? Don’t go into panic mode! Take some time and retrace your steps.

☒ Relevance
On your resume, make sure you have all relevant Information. Don’t apply for management and your resume is geared towards administrative. This is not to say that you can’t change your job career you most certainly can. However, make sure you put some type of experience paid or volunteer that relates to the job you are applying for. Experience is always a plus with hiring managers.

☒ Attire
This is an oldie but still applies, dress for success. I can’t tell you how many people still don’t dress up when they know they have a job interview. First impressions still apply in the job world. I know when I interviewed, the first thing I noticed was how potential candidates dressed, and carried themselves. Make a strong impression that shows a hiring manager you are ready to start immediately.

☒ Feedback
If you find that you really wanted the job and after the interview you did not hear back from the employer, call back and ask why you did not get the position. Put on your thick skin and take note on what the employer is saying. By receiving feedback, you will know what not to do and increase your chance for the next opportunity.
