Sterling silver punch bowl in Marquise pattern. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca. 1901. Curved bowl with concave neck and dramatic asymmetrical rim. Rests on raised and spread foot.

Four tapering flutes on bowl and four more on foot. Spare bands of bead-and reel ornament applied to rim and foot rim as well as bowl. An advanced treatment of a popular turn-of-the-century form. The model (no. 15123) was first produced in 1901. Hallmarked. Excellent condition with nice patina.

Dimensions: H 9 1/8 x D 16 in. Weight: 115 troy ounces.
