PRLog - Jul. 18, 2014 - LAS VEGAS -- Arrests happen daily here in Las Vegas. People are going to jail. A lot of them. Many are not there for the first time. This is a huge problem. How do we begin to solve this perpetuating cycle of incarceration?
You are invited to celebrate!
Hope For Prisoners, a Las Vegas non-profit organization conducts intensive pre-vocational leadership workshops for former inmates in the valley. This Friday (today actually!) twenty four of the most recent graduates are to be honored at a graduation ceremony at 4:30pm. There will be several esteemed guest speakers on the schedule for today. Additionally, refreshments will be on hand and it is sure to be an edifying experience. You are welcome to attend!
The address for the event is the main offices at 3430 East Flamingo Road Suite 350. It is near E. Flamingo and Pecos Rd (the northeast corner).
Among the esteemed attendees are Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez-Masto, US Congressman of the NV 4th District Steven Horsford, US District Court Judge James C. Mahan, and Assistant General Manager of the RTC, MJ Maynard. We truly hope to see you there, and we're proud to be a community partner of #H4P !
