The NHHBA was referred to mRELEVANCE by the Northern Vermont Home Builder’s Association after being impressed with the work the agency had done on Northern Vermont’s awards site. The NHHBA awards features Awards Central, an innovative rewards program application built by mRELEVANCE to streamline award programs for associations.
When the NHHBA approached mRELEVANCE, they were still conducting their awards program manually. With the old system, members submitted entries by CDs and written descriptions and then they were judged by hand, making the process lengthy and time consuming. The goal of the new NHHBA site was to automate the awards program to save time and effort for both members and staff. Now project submission, voting and judging are all electronic, providing a much streamlined program for all involved with the Cornerstone Awards.
The new award website offers a backend member login, as well as an attractive front facing site for the general public. The public facing side of the website showcases some of the awards, serving as an extra promotion for NHHBA members. Additionally, prospective home buyers can now browse the individual members’ award-winning projects and be directed to their websites. This is valued by members and provides incentive for home builders to join the NHHBA because it gives members a greater presence on the web.
