PRLog - July 18, 2014 - MIAMI -- “The Mind, Body and Soul remains the core focus of the 3rd Annual Hat & Tea Luncheon”, said G. Eric Knowles, President / CEO of Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce. “Given the amount of responsibilities that today’s modern women faces, it is paramount that they embrace these three core areas of their lives. To effectively manage their personal, business, social, spiritual and family lives, these three areas; mind, body, and soul must be exercised.”
During the event, attendees will attend sessions centered on these core areas of balance. MIND Sessions will focus on business growth and enrichment; BODY sessions will include a health forum and “Rip the Runway”- a fashion show featuring styles by Voluptuous You; and SOUL sessions will spur motivation and meditation.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by 2014 White House ‘Champion of Change’ honoree Felicia Hatcher. Author, Social Entrepreneur and the Chief ‘Popsicle’
The program will also honor Businesswoman Carole Ann Taylor with an award that will be presented annually in her name and on her behalf. The Carole Ann Taylor Legend Award honors exceptional women who actively promote, create and celebrate the successes of girls and women in business throughout South Florida, the US and the world. These honorees work tirelessly on behalf of women in business and as Servant Leaders to improve all communities.
“I’m so proud of the Hat & Tea Luncheon Planning Committee. They’ve created the best program ever! We know all who attend will leave with great business and fashion tips from our speakers and lineup. However, most of all, we want the attendees to sit back, enjoy the fashion show, vendors, hat contest and have fun; feel the warmth of camaraderie while having their tea”, Priscilla Dames, Women's Business Council, Chairwoman.
The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council is sponsored by One United Bank, Baptist Health South Florida, Voluptuous You, Design Group Miami, Young Professionals Network Miami and Wingspan Seminars.
