Mulvaney, 47, recently joined The Woods, a senior living community located in Camp Hill. He brought 25 years of experience, including 12 years with Marriott Hotels and the past 13 years with a continued care retirement community.
“I’ve been in the field for about 25 years and have gained valuable experience, which I will utilize to my best ability to benefit the residents and staff at The Woods at Cedar Run,” said Mulvaney, a graduate of the Widener University Hotel and Restaurant Management School.
“A typical day involves evaluating the catering needs and menu,” he added. “We evaluate the census for the feeding of the residents, and we address staffing needs. Our overall responsibilities are the operations of the food service department to include ordering, inventory, food products, new recipe development and meeting all state, federal and county sanitation regulations.”
Mulvaney works with a staff of 35 food service employees at The Woods, which is one of 11 senior communities in Pennsylvania and Maryland owned by Wexford-based IntegraCare. The Woods at Cedar Run has three different lifestyle opportunities for seniors – independent living, senior living and memory care.
