100 apply for the Malta Citizenship Scheme

BALZAN, Malta - July 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Over 100 individuals have already applied to gain Malta citizenship through the Malta Individual Investor Programme.

The scheme was introduced 14 weeks ago by the Maltese Government, aiming to attract high-net-worth individuals who are interested in expanding their investments in Malta and the EU.

KSi Malta is licensed and authorized by Identity Malta Agency as an Accredited Person, meaning that we are authorized to submit applications.

The following contributions are required to benefit from the IIP:

1) A €650,000 Contribution for the principal applicant and an additional €25,000 for each dependent, mainly the spouse and dependents aged under 18. Non-spouse dependents aged over 18 need to contribute an additional €50,000 each;

2) Acquisition of property valued at least €350,000, or a minimum property rental of not less than €16,000 per annum;

3) Investment of at least €150,000 in Governmental approved financial instruments to be kept for at least 5 years.

The programme requires the applicant to reside in Malta for a period of at least 12 months.
