SubZero was founded in 1945 in Madison, Wisconsin, starting as a manufacturer of the first free standing freezers. The company followed this innovation with the first built-in refrigerators in the mid-1950’s as well as the invention of a revolutionary dual refrigeration system, which uses separate cooling systems for the refrigerator and the freezer. The Wolf line of appliances, which now includes ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, microwave ovens, and kitchen hoods, was also founded in 1945 in California. In the year 2000, SubZero acquired Wolf to combine their high-end refrigeration products with Wolf’s highly regarded line of cooking-related appliances.

“The customers of Bray & Scarff have consistently looked to SubZero and Wolf products for high-quality appliance solutions”, said Joe Ochs Vice President of Sales at Bray & Scarff. He added, “The current rebate program from these highly regarded manufacturers provides an opportunity for our customers to initiate kitchen remodeling projects or replace existing appliances with highly regarded products at substantial savings.”

Bray & Scarff Appliance and Kitchen Specialists was founded in 1930 and currently has 13 locations in the states of Maryland and Virginia.
