PARIS - July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Scientists have discovered a substance artificially stimulating intensive production of phenylethylamine, the so-called love hormone. The working title of the substance is ISO Infinitum.

Phenylethylamine is a biogenic amine with a stimulating and euphoric effect. It consists of a benzene ring and an aminoethyl group. Phenylethylamine is one of the natural neurotransmitters. In the human brain, it affects the emotions and is responsible for the feeling of love. This is due to an intense increase of dopamine and norepinephrine concentration in synaptic space. By the action phenylethylamine resembles amphetamine without its inherent side effects.

Dopamine is strongly tied to sexual drive, feelings of pleasure, and the brain's reward system. Norepinephrine causes heightened attention and increased heart rate and is closely tied to the fight-or-flight response. Together, these neurochemicals result in many of the feelings associated with romantic love, including sexual desire, giddiness or euphoria, and nervousness.

Scientists have proved that thanks to phenylethylamine a person feels a sense of love which manifests itself while the substance is in the blood. If we note that euphoric state associated with a feeling of love leaves no one indifferent it can be argued that phenylethylamine is a natural drug produced by the body. For example, under the influence of phenylethylamine men are often commit reckless acts and do everything possible to please the object of their affection - the woman responsible for what happens to them at the molecular level.
