Keller Williams Northeast in Kingwood's July 4th Parade

KINGWOOD, Texas - July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The Agents of Keller Williams Realty Northeast participated in the annual Kingwood Fourth of July Parade on July 4th, 2014. This year, the agents handed out over 1,000 freezer pops and over 500 fans to the crowd. Overall, the Keller Williams Northeast foldable fans were deemed a hit. The parachute fabric fans could be dipped in water to fan cool air, or used as a frisbee.

Kingwood’s Fourth of July Parade began at Creekwood Middle School at 10AM. The weather was one of the coolest experienced in recent years and the crowd turned out in masses to enjoy the weather. The parade route continued down West Lake Houston Parkway, then turned up Kingwood Drive to end at Kingwood High School.

Crowd participation was better than ever. In most places, the community stood six people deep, with kids wheeling and dealing for various handouts from all of the parade floats. Kingwood Civic Club, the parade organizer, played music and announced each float as it passed the announcer’s stand.

“We would like to thank the community for making this year’s parade such a huge success,” said Cindy Higgins, Kingwood Civic Club’s VP. “Because we live in a community that is so family oriented and loves to share the hometown spirit that we live with every day, we are fortunate to be able to host such an amazing event. We had about 90 parade sponsors/participants that made the event a success as well as the AMAZING crowd that lined the streets cheering on the spectacular floats. The Kingwood Civic Club is thankful for an amazing community that comes out to support us in this event every year.”
