SecureTower 5.3: even more opportunities to protect business from internal threats

The new version of the SecureTower system was added with a number of useful features that make work with the system even more effective.

The changes affected the settings of image recognition server. The function to control text information in images using ABBYY FineReader was added to Falcongaze SecureTower. Update of SecureTower also affected popular today instant messengers. With SecureTower it is possible now to control data sent via Viber. The system intercepts and analyzes text and voice messages and files sent and received in Viber.

In addition, the functionality to control Microsoft Lync which is actively used in business environment was expanded. If earlier with the help of SecureTower only text messages sent in MS Lync were intercepted now it is possible to control user calls in this program.

In the user activities module when viewing employee relations through communication, in addition to the existing graphics mode, the opportunity to represent them in the format of table was implemented. Statistics on daily activity of employees can now be saved as HTML report and subsequently viewed with any browser.

What is more, in the user activities module the tool for viewing employees’ snapshots was improved. Now you can customize the layout of thumbnails, display images on the entire screen, change them out. In addition, not only is it possible to export desktop screenshots into a specified folder or into PDF, but also save as a web document. Saving snapshots as videos now happens in a compressed format.

Brand new version of SecureTower allows you to customize the size of local storage for agent depending on the available space, as well as adjust storage period of the intercepted information. The operation of agent with local storage is used to store information from mobile workstations outside the corporate network without connection to the server (on business trips, work out of office).
