Follow on Google News | Area Jambands chosen to perform at Merry Prankster's 50th Anniversary Furthur Bus Stop in Bedford, PAWheeling, WV's KR-3 and Washington, PA's Rusty Haywhackers have been chosen to perform at Willis Mountain Music Festival on August 11th for an official Merry Prankster's 50th Anniversary Bus Stop hosted by Ken Kesey's son Zane Kesey.
With Music on the Main Stage, Crafts, Foods, Photo opportunities with the bus, a 60's costume contest with prizes, handmade craft and local food vendors and activities for kids of all ages, this is a once in a lifetime event worth catching! The movie, "Magic Trip", a documentary using the 16 MM color footage shot by Kesey and the Merry Pranksters during their 1964 cross-country bus trip in the FURTHUR BUS will be shown for late-night viewing. BANDS APPEARING: KR-3 Adams Ale The Rusty Haywhackers Mixing Numbers With Sound Sprinter Cat and MORE to be announced! Single Day Furthur "Bus Fare" tickets will be available for $15 at the festival gate Monday morning, August 11. (Parking and camping Monday night included) The Further Bus Stop will immediately follow the three day Wills Mountain Festival on Monday August 11, 2014. Patrons who purchase a three day weekend Wills Mountain Festival Pass on-line by July 15 will receive a complimentary ticket to the Monday Bus Stop show.
