Professional skateboarder and San Diego native Tony Hawk will be at ShakeAway’s soft opening in La Jolla on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Hawk will be naming an official milkshake, with proceeds donated to theTony Hawk Foundation (http://tonyhawkfoundation.org/)
Guests will have the opportunity to enter the Name Your Shake contest, where the lucky winner will get to name their favorite concoction created from 180 flavors and millions of combinations to choose from. The winning shake, which will be chosen based on creativity, will remain on the menu for 60 days. The winner will also receive a store gift card.
ShakeAway will be hosting a soft opening in La Jolla on Friday, July 18, 2014 and a grand opening event in Pacific Beach on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The first 50 guests will receive a free milkshake and the opportunity to win a $1,000 giveaway. The schedule for each event is as follows:
