Arizona Tile Adding Italian-Made Quartz to its Varied Slab Offering

PRLog - Jul. 15, 2014 - TEMPE, Ariz. -- Della Terra™ Quartz by SantaMargherita (http://www.arizonatile.com/Quartz-C158.aspx) is the newest Italian-manufactured countertop slab to be offered by Arizona Tile.  SantaMargherita is based in the heart of the Venetian region of Italy, with more than 50 years of tradition as a pioneer in the engineered stone industry.

Della Terra Quartz by SantaMargherita (http://www.arizonatile.com/Quartz-C158.aspx) will be shown in five neutral shades that emulate natural marble or polished limestone and present the versatility and classic look that are always a winning combination.  These quartz slabs are available in both 2cm and 3cm thickness.  The consistent sizing of 126”x61” means these particular quartz slabs will be greater in length and height than the average granite slab at 110”x60” , the average marble slab and the average limestone slab at 108”x57”, per Leon Amaro, Slab Manager at the Arizona Tile Tempe branch.

The 93% natural quartz content makes this product exceedingly durable and resistant to abrasion and acids, ensuring this material to be notably scratch and heat-resistant.  Della Terra Quartz by SantaMargherita (http://www.arizonatile.com/Quartz-C158.aspx) is resistant to bacteria, is therefore NSF certified as safe for foods, and does not need to be sealed, due to its non-porous nature.  In addition, this particular quartz material has been GREENGUARD certified.  Simply put, GREENGUARD Certification ensures that a product has met some of the world's most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air. This material is recommended for interior application only.
