Advanced adds IBM mainframe modernization solutions to its product portfolio

15 July 2014 – Advanced (formerly Transoft, Inc.), a market leading provider of data migration, consolidation and warehousing systems, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with BOS Software (BOS), a specialist developer of IBM mainframe integration solutions. Advanced will now be providing its customers with tcVISION and tcACCESS from BOS, both of which are used by organizations worldwide to leverage the value of legacy platforms and data.

The partnership brings together two companies with a combined 50 years of experience in helping organizations migrate critical, legacy applications and data from mainframes to modern platforms. By doing so, organizations reduce the high cost of maintaining ageing infrastructure and benefit from enhanced data visibility and improved business intelligence.

The solutions are used by more than 500 installations worldwide including the Baloise Group, the SIA Group and EADS Group.
