“Protecting Your Business Accounts and Assets from Cybercriminals”

IRVINE, Calif. (July 14, 2014) –
As the final free webinar in the Irvine Builds Businesses series, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce is offering “Protecting Your Business Accounts and Assets from Cybercriminals” on Thursday, July 31 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Companies are held responsible for maintaining the safety of consumer information. Without proper protection and safeguards, small businesses are an easy target for cybercriminals. Therefore, it is imperative that business owners and employees take the steps necessary to lower the risk of important information being infiltrated, stolen, and misused.

Participants will be taught how to protect a business from security risks, as well as which recommended cyber tips to utilize. After the completion of this webinar, participants will understand how to maintain a secure identity across multiple platforms and how to balance the risks and rewards of using local storage versus the Cloud. In addition, viewers will learn the first warning signs that indicate a computer, data source, or identity has been compromised and the necessary people to contact in the event of a cybercrime.
