In preparation for their grand opening, Pretty Girl Cupcakery owner LaKisa Taylor launched a Kickstarter campaign that is garnering astounding support from admirers and customers of the bakery/café. Within 4 days of its launch, the campaign has harvested nearly $1,000 in pledges and is progressively reaching their financial goal. When discussing the plans for the expansion project, Taylor explains, “This is a great opportunity to introduce Pretty Girl Cupcakery to a much larger audience and solidify our representation of Prince George's County. One of my goals has been to establish a solid business in the place where I grew up and find a way to make a positive impact on others."
The grand opening for the Pretty Girl Cupcakery Tanger Outlet location is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of August 1 - 3, 2014. The grand opening festivities will include a private red carpet preview of the café, a media only reception and the official public opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
