Shermco Industries’ Kevin Alewine Chairs International Panel for Nanodielectics Research

IRVING, Texas - July 14, 2014 - PRLog -- IRVING, Texas – Kevin Alewine chaired an international panel on new developments in nanodielectrics research held June 10 at the 2014 Electrical Insulation Conference.  Alewine moderated the three-hour session which included five technical-paper presentations on a diverse cross section of topics related to new nanodielectrics research, most specifically regarding nanocomposites used for electrical insulation.

The Electrical Insulation Conference is sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society and was held this year in Philadelphia, Pa. The conference ran from June 8-11 and included more than 100 technical papers and presentations discussing the state-of-the-arts in materials development and testing methodologies for electrical and electronic applications ranging from micro machines to massive hydro turbines to utility scale transformers.  The 2015 Electrical Insulation Conference will be in Seattle, WA on June 7-10.
