Follow on Google News | SpaceTek Signs MOU with Excalibur AlmazSpaceTek Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Excalibur Almaz for the operation of its Salyut Space Station under a planned joint venture.

Stiphan Beher stated “this is a major milestone for SpaceTek which has had strong interest from European and Asian investors, and sets us on course to achieve our 2018 launch. “ The Salyut Space Station will be capable of accommodating up to seven crew in a volume of 90 cubic meters for periods up to six months and will orbit at 250 miles above Earth and is built by Russian rocketry company NPO Mashinostroyenia (NPOM). Excalibur Almaz Limited (EA) is an international commercial space transportation company based in the Isle of Man. Its goal is the affordable and reliable transportation of humans and cargo to Low Earth Orbit, the Moon and beyond. SpaceTek’s mission is to progress the opening of space for private enterprise.
