The Civil War Comrades has many recordings of Civil War music, with many recordings of Abraham Lincoln's favorite music. Don't miss this very special occasion to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Ft. Stevens. At this battle, President Lincoln was nearly struck by a bullet from Confederate gunners under the command of General Jubal Early. President Lincoln was splattered by the blood of the surgeon next to him, who was struck by a Confederate bullet. Historian Ed Bearss is a featured speaker. See living history presentations and demonstrations. Witness the first firing of a cannon at a Washington, DC fort in 150 years. For families: 19th century children's activities.
