Mike Broemmel Discusses Smoking and the Environment at LiveStrong

How Smoking Hurts Our Environment: It Harms More Than Just Individuals

July 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Mike Broemmel has provided information on health related matters to LiveStrong for a number of years. Mike Broemmel has prepared a brief report on how cigarette smoking actually harms the environment around smokers.

"A recurring misconception is that smoking does not actually damage the environment. The theory is that only a small amount of smoke is emitted from a cigarette into the ambient atmosphere. Although only a dozen or so puffs of smoke may emit from a typical cigarette, when that figure is multiplied by the millions of people who smoke daily, the amount of chemical-filled smoke that ends up in the air does impact the environment," according to the report by Mike Broemmel.

In addition to his support of LiveStrong, Mike Broemmel is a playwright. Last year, his play The Row premiered in Colorado. The Row will be staged in Kansas City and Des Moines this fall and in other U.S. cities in 2015. The most recent play by Mike Broemmel, The Baptism, premieres on October 17, 2014, in Denver, Colorado.
