PRLog - July 12, 2014 - CARLISLE, Pa. -- – At recent offerings of the Carlisle Truck Nationals, enthusiasts had the chance to see a stock Jeep transform into a show-worthy gem via the Light Truck Access Alliance (LTAA) and RV 4 Wheel Drive of nearby Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This year, the tradition continues, but with a fresh twist on an old favorite. Over the course of the three-day show, August 1-3 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, RV4WD and the LTAA will continue to partner, but this time it’s to makeover a 2012 Ford F150 King Ranch pick-up truck.

The transformation will be done within Building T and runs during event hours. Once completed, the truck will roll to the Red 102.3 stage for display. In between, expert workers from RV4WD will utilize a wide array of new products from the LTAA and do so in real time. As guests walk the grounds and pass through Building T, they will see the transformation taking place. The LTAA not only comes back to Carlisle to support the event and this makeover, they’re back to highlight what their popular aftermarket accessories can do for an otherwise stock vehicle, as will be the case with the Ford. The LTAA helps oversee an eclectic mix of aftermarket parts manufacturers, retailers and suppliers.
Within the building and in and around the Ford, showgoers can see the massive selection of pieces and parts that will be going into the truck. From the simple to complex, the trained service members of the RV4WD team will professionally showcase these products. Best of all, if anyone at the event has questions for either RV4WD or the LTAA, staff members will be onsite to talk shop face to face.
A complete list of products provided for the build is still being compiled but some of the biggest names within the hobby will be contributing. The products going onto the Ford are geared directly at the light truck, Jeep, van and SUV market. Better yet, guests can experience the LTAA New Product Showcase on the Manufacturers Midway. There, many of the newest, latest and greatest parts and accessories in the light truck market will be available to see onsite.
Owners of light trucks, vans, Jeeps or SUVs are encouraged to peruse the latest accessories and products to customize, upgrade, enhance or maintain their vehicles. Many of these companies will be onsite and include the likes of 4 Wheel Drive Parts, Skyjacker Suspensions and the official tire of the Carlisle Truck Nationals, Mickey Thompson Tires. Light truck owners may wish to start their own transformation while onsite with products available from member companies and through LTAA retailers such as RV 4WD & Performance A&A Auto Parts, More Than Tires and many more of Carlisle’s vendors. Get started right away with an exhaust upgrade from LTAA retailer and Carlisle Events’ season sponsor A&A Auto Parts or new shoes from Mickey Thompson Tires. This is a must see for any light truck owner!
Experiencing the LTAA build is just one part of the Truck Nationals. This year’s show not only hosts a massive array of trucks but also welcomes family fun with a kids-themed scavenger hunt, special giveaways, monster trucks, carnival-style games and rides, cool displays, the Women’s Oasis and more. Attendees will see everything from restored classics, lifted or lowered 2 - and 4 - wheel drives to chromed-out big rigs. Plus, not only are there monster trucks in action, but guests can ride on one too or visit the Kids at Carlisle activity area.
