Dozens of Companies to Gather in San Diego for Veteran Job Fair on August 14

RecruitMilitary will host a Veteran Career Fair at Hotel del Coronado, 1500 Orange Avenue, in San Diego on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. DeVry University and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) are sponsors of the event.

LOVELAND, Ohio - July 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH – The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for veterans and other men and women with military backgrounds, at Hotel del Coronado, 1500 Orange Avenue, in San Diego on Thursday, August 14, 2014. DeVry University and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.

RecruitMilitary expects more than 45 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. In addition, USAA’s local Wealth Management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 a.m. The seminar is titled “Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning.” All veterans are welcome to attend this session intended to provide information for veterans and spouses as they consider their future retirement.
