July 11, 2014 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL —The 1st Cavalry Division, one of the most decorated combat division of the United States Army, will be riding into this year’s 67th reunion with new ammunition:  a free mobile application from GovQA.

“This smartphone application really puts everything in and around our reunion at our veterans’ fingertips,” said Bruce Peterson, President of Sheridan’s Cavalry Chapter that is in charge of hosting this year’s reunion.

The Fort Hood, TX based Division, which started in 1921, expects over 600 association troopers to celebrate their reunion in Oak Brook, IL from Wednesday, July 9 through Saturday, July 13, 2014.  The program highlights the Chicagoland area while including museums, breweries and numerous other events and tours that will allow veterans to socialize.

The 1st Cavalry mobile application is designed to help veterans keep track of the days’ events and includes features to:

·        *  Access an interactive schedule of Chicago area attractions

·         *  View detailed listing of events and planned tours

·         *  Find information regarding lodging and transportation
