Since its founding in 2008, AMM Communications has served the leading companies in their industry sectors providing them with support ranging from media relations and crisis communications to social media consulting and M&A communications.  The company, co-founded by Town & Country residents, Ed and Ann Marie Mayuga, focuses on financial institutions, professional services firms , manufacturing  and distribution companies, and technology start-ups throughout the region and nationwide.

Prior to founding AMM Communications, Ann Marie worked as managing director for a boutique public relations firm, served as Director of Public Relations for GenAmerica Financial and later as Director of Marketing for MetLife, which acquired GenAmerica in 2000. She is a board member of 2013-2014 St. Louis Chapter of the National Associations of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and serves on the marketing committee for the Missouri Venture Forum. She received a master’s of journalism and public affairs from American University, a master’s of adult and continuing education from the University of Georgia, Athens, and a bachelor’s of journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Before starting AMM Communications, Ed worked for a consulting company working in the search management area, and prior to that he spent more than 10 years in pharmaceutical industry where he was a District Sales Manager for Pfizer Inc., and worked as a sales representative for Abbott Laboratories. He serves on the board of director for Catholic Charities of St. Louis, the board of directors for stl250, the nonprofit planning the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the city of St. Louis, and is a member of the leadership committee for the planning of Fair Saint Louis, the country’s largest Fourth of July celebration.  In 2012, Ed was awarded the “Hispanic Businessperson of the Year” by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis, and was selected as “One of the Top 100 St. Louisans to Know” by Small Business Monthly. He received his master’s of business administration and bachelor’s of finance from Saint Louis University.
