Studies show that the majority of Americans hold at least one paranormal belief. Thanks in part to national television shows on the subject, combined with an increasing curiosity about the afterlife, the popularity of spiritual mediums and psychics has skyrocketed over the last couple of years. Maria’s experience in the field predates the trend, however. Since becoming a medium nearly two decades ago, she has brought a unique down-to-earth style to her work, making her one of New England’s highly sought-after mediums. From CEO's of corporations to stay-at-home moms, Maria has provided peace and comfort to thousands of people.
For Maria, it was the death of a dear friend that opened up the door to her own mediumistic abilities. Busy climbing the corporate ladder and with a successful career as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a major Boston-based non-profit, she did not set out to become a medium. “When I first started connecting with Spirit, it was truly an overwhelming experience for me because I could see and feel Spirit’s energy,” Maria said. “All I wanted was for this ‘ability’ to go away. What changed my mind was experiencing and witnessing the healing power of Spirit’s love.”
At that point, Maria knew there was no turning back, so she took that “leap of faith” and embraced her incredible gift. “Today, the absolute biggest reward is being able to provide people with the peace-of-mind that our loved ones continue to live in a place filled with love and harmony,” she said.
Maria’s uniquely grounded approach defies stereotype, but it’s her ability to connect with Spirit, provide evidential messages and give audiences an understanding of how their loved ones continue to live and evolve in the Spirit world that has resulted in a schedule that fills up nearly a year in advance.
