Clara Hughes Rides into Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, Manitoba - July 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Telpay is pleased to be a part of Manitoba’s Big Social in honour of Clara Hughes, 6-time Olympic Medalist and native Winnipegger.  Clara will be making a pit stop on June 14th in her hometown during her Big Ride across Canada, as the spokesperson for Bell Let’s Talk about mental illness.

Telpay is a t-shirt sponsor, as well as sponsoring the VIP room at Manitoba’s Big Social on Saturday June 14, Manitoba Museum from 7:00 pm – 12:00 am.  It is a family friendly event featuring a keynote by Clara, an interactive rave room, cabaret and silent auction with all proceeds raised will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Winnipeg Region.

Clara’s Big Ride is working to raise awareness on mental health issues in 95 communities all over the country. The tour will focus on youth education and stigma elimination. The goal of the tour is to raise awareness and all funds raised at community events for Clara’s Big Ride will go to local mental health organizations. In her epic ride, Clara will cycle in total of 12,000 km in 110 days and finish in Ottawa on July 1.
