“Our students and faculty are excited to have Wella's education program and innovative Color.id technology,”
The innovative Color.id technology allows stylists to apply color next to color without foils, delivering supreme color results without the risk of bleeding.
According to their website, Wella began in 1924 to aid in wig making and quickly developed into a worldwide beauty leader. From developing the first hair dryers with built in motors in 1930 to launching the new Color.id technology in 2013, innovation is the heart of Wella.
“Wella has been around for many years, just like barbering, and we are excited to be a part of all the new and exciting technology that Wella has to offer,” said Paula Matthews, Barber Department Head.
CSC is excited for the opportunities this switch will bring to our students.
