The junior roller derby bout, which has been christened “IndeVengeance Day”, will be held at the Skate Station Funworks located at 230 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida, at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 13th. Rink doors will open at 5:30pm for the bout. Admission for the event is $5 at the door. Active duty military and children ages 10 and under are admitted free.
NSOM first caught the attention of Charmers’ fans during “Head Over Wheels”, a junior roller derby bout staged earlier this month against the Florida Junior Roller Girls. “NSOM was awesome,” said Charmers’ fan David Allen, “The first period ended, halftime started, and it was like BAM! The whole rink was suddenly filled with the thunder of drums. It was really fantastic. I can’t wait to see them again at IndeVengeance Day “
“We are thrilled that Nocturnal State of Mind will be returning for IndeVengeance Day,” said Charmers General Manager Dana Wolfe, “Our fans loved them and the band really kept up the intensity of the bout throughout halftime. Derby is about tough girls, fast skating, and rock and roll. A performance by NSOM really completes the derby experience.”
