PRLog -- NurseWise, a national provider of multilingual nursing and health education service, announced its new Director of Clinical Care Center Outreach Operations and Quality, Janis M. Dougherty, RN, MSN. Effective July 2014, Dougherty will manage quality and outreach programs for NurseWise’s six brick-and-mortar call center locations. NurseWise has locations in Tempe, Ariz.; El Paso, Texas; Tyler, Texas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; and St. Louis, Mo. “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Janis Dougherty to our team,” said Kim Tuck, RN, President and Chief Executive Officer of NurseWise. “Janis is an extremely talented RN with highly-advanced skills in the field of nursing and clinical care center management, and we know she’ll help us further strengthen and enhance our proactive health care programs and quality oversight measures.” Dougherty brings more than 20 years’ experience in clinical care operations, acute care provision, health education and business management to NurseWise. Dougherty has led nursing teams within hospital and health care systems, securing record satisfaction scores and quality improvement achievements. Prior to NurseWise, Dougherty was the Director of Clinical Operations for Healthways from 2011 to 2014, and she served as the Clinical Care Operations Manager for Healthways from 2007 to 2011. Dougherty has a master’s degree in nursing from Jewish Hospital College of Nursing and Allied Health in St. Louis. Dougherty also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Barnes College of Nursing in St. Louis.
