Nutfield offers four different galvanometer options with optical position detector

HUDSON, N.H. - July 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Nutfield Technology the leader in mirror galvanometer scanner manufacturing is proud to offer many galvanometer scanners, including four with optical position detector. The QS-3 OPD moving-magnet galvo is a lightweight, extremely compact galvanometer with ceramic ball bearing motors for high durability. It is ideal for hand-held scanning applications. The QS-5 OPD moving-magnet galvanometer is versatile and can also be used in hand-held scanning applications. The QS-7 OPD is a mirror galvanometer that combines strong, high-speed performance with value. The QS-12 OPD galvanometer can steer 10 mm, 15mm and 20mm galvo mirrors. The OPDs also offer high linearity, strong repeatability and have a low drift mechanical design. Applications include micromachining , marking, imaging and many other uses.  A novel hub mirror mount offers high resonant frequencies.

The QS-30 galvo steers 30mm and 45 mm mirrors.  It also has 99.9% linearity, a ceramic rotor for faster scanning and 4X position feedback signal. The QS-30 is ideal for laser welding and laser cutting. The HS-15 galvanometer and SS-30 galvanometer have a flexure base so they offer exceptionally smooth scanning for small angle and high duty cycle raster imaging and printing.

When integrated with the QD-4000 servo-amplifier, each galvanometer scanner provides excellent speed and accuracy in compact, affordable configurations. Each galvo can be configured in either single- or multi-axis scanning subassemblies.
