AMMAN, Jordan (July 2014) — In the aim of spreading the joy of Ramadan, City Mall hosted a number of orphaned and underprivileged children for an evening of fun and games and a delicious iftar meal.
The evening started with various entertainment activities at Jingo’s Jungle, where children spent an hour of unforgettable fun.
After play came the food, and the children and their supervisors were treated to a iftar meal at City Mall’s Food Court.
Afterwards, each of the buoyant children received a School bag as a precious reminder of the special evening.
Ms. Maram Enaya, Commercial Manager at City Mall, said the initiative is inspired by the values of goodwill synonymous with the holy month of Ramadan.
“In this holy month of tolerance and forgiveness, we all have the responsibility to spread joy around. At City Mall, the city’s favorite destination, Ramadan has its own special atmosphere sketched from these key values,” she added.
“City Mall is part of this community, and initiatives such as this reflect our vision of giving back to the society and honoring our corporate social responsibility.”
