2014 Studio Tour will be held in various studios around Alamance County two weekends in October

BURLINGTON, N.C. - July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Big changes are on tap for the fifth annual Alamance Studio Tour in 2014.  By popular demand, for the first time, the Studio Tour will be held on two weekends, October 11-12, and October 18-19.  Though some artists may only exhibit one weekend, many will be open both weekends.  Painters, quilters, potters, jewelers, fine woodworkers, fabric and mixed media artists, weavers, photographers and makers of both fused and stained glass will be on hand to show, sell, and discuss their work.  There is no charge to visit any of the events or studios.  The goal of the Alamance Artisans Guild Studio Tour, now in its fifth year, is to showcase the fine artists and craftspeople of Alamance County and to make their work available and accessible to the public.

In Addition to the Studio Tour, a preview exhibit of artists' work will be held at The Alamance County Arts Council, Captain White House on Friday, September 26 - Saturday, October 18.  The Captain White House hours are:  Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
