About the author: David Bell grew up on a diet of ‘TinTin’, ‘Judge Dredd’ and ‘Sharpe’ stories, CGI free action movies, and studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Liverpool Art School. With a successful career in London advertising under his belt, he crossed the world to do ads in New Zealand, eventually setting up Adschool, Auckland’s internationally acclaimed course for aspiring young writers and art directors. But the Welsh legend of Gelert the Faithful Wolfhound came with him, haunting his memories over the years until he knew he had to do something about it.
