Hobbs was raised in Maryville and graduated from Heritage High School. He retired from the Marine Corps in October 2010 after serving in both the Persian Gulf and Iraq wars. He is married to Robin Hobbs and when he isn't serving the home buying and selling needs of clients, he enjoys sports especially golf and racquetball.
Randy Hobbs has received several awards and much recognition throughout his career. These include Rookie Recruiter of the Year, USMC, Meritorious Promotion for Sales, Certificate of Sales from Achieve Global and SNCOIC (Staff-Non-Commissioned Office in Charge) of Recruiting Station in Cookeville, TN, and being named Station of the month on numerous occasions.
He served as a board member for Corporals Course and was Ordinance Chief for Gun Squadron HMLA/269 for Cobra & Huey gunships during combat. Hobbs also received multiple Personal Service Awards, achieved Eagle Scout rank with the Boy Scouts of America and received the Marine Corps Expert Rifle and Pistol awards. He says “Good, Better, Best! I’ll never quit till my good is better and my better best.”
