City Club, Commute Options and St. Charles Bend Partner Together to Help Ease Forum Parking

BEND, Ore. - July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Finding a parking space on a weekday at the St. Charles Bend medical campus is challenging and adding another 150-200 vehicles during City Club’s forum times (the third Thursday of each month, 11:30am-1:00pm) can really push the limit.

To find the solution, City Club, Commute Options and St. Charles put their heads together. “Parking is the number one issue our members bring up on our forum surveys,” said Joey Drucker, Executive Director for City Club of Central Oregon. “We are continuously seeking ways to improve the forum experience, so partnering with Commute Options to help with the parking issue just seemed like the natural next step.”

The partnership between City Club and St. Charles is a longstanding one. “While St. Charles Bend enjoys hosting City Club each month, the event does place a strain on our ability to provide parking for our patients — many of whom have mobility challenges,” said Jim Kirkbride, vice president of service lines for St. Charles Bend and Redmond. “Please consider carpooling to this month’s City Club, use the resources available through Commute Options and help reserve parking spaces for our patients and their families.”
