July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT:          On Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is offering students a chance to learn the ins and outs of the Seaport’s booming food scene with Amy Traverso, Food and Wine Editor of Yankee Magazine. Diners will enjoy a truly sensory experience as they stroll through the streets of the Seaport, take in the scenic harbor view, sample local favorites at each designated spot, and savor the culture of one of Boston’s most vibrant districts.

         From 6:00PM to 9:00PM, Traverso will guide guests through a progressive dinner at a few of the hottest restaurants in the area, including Sam's, Tavern Road, Pastoral and Row 34.  Attendees will delve into everything from the make-up of the menu and unique dishes to the in’s and out’s of the restaurant scene, all under the guidance of one of Boston’s most influential food critics. This one-of-a-kind, mouth-watering tour has all the ingredients for a memorable food experience that will turn students into first-class foodies.
