Karen I. Hirsch is a Chicago-based digital artist/photographer. Her images have been published in Communication Arts, Graphis, Architectural Digest, Forbes, the Chicago Tribune, as well as numerous other magazines, newspapers and books. Karen I. Last year, Hirsch had a solo exhibit titled "Shape, Rattle & Roll" of abstract works at the Millennium Fine Art Gallery in Chicago. In 2007, the Chinese government invited Hirsch to be one of ten American Society of Media Photographers to document the city of Rizhao for the project "Rizhao in the Eyes of Foreign Photographers." In 2003, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council sponsored her one-woman exhibit "My Chicago," - featuring more than 200 images of Chicago's people, places and events.
