Honda Reps Present Hamilton Dealer with Council of Excellence Award

July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Representatives from American Honda Motor Co. recently stopped by Hamilton Honda to present the dealership with the Council of Excellence award. This marks the fourth consecutive time the dealership has earned the prestigious honor in just four full years of being in business. The award was established to distinguish finance and insurance teams at Honda dealerships that serve as “exceptional providers of financial services to its customers.”

“I am very excited for the dealership and our finance team,” said George Alexander, finance director at Hamilton Honda, “This is a great honor, once again. Thank you to Honda for recognizing our accomplishments.”

Dave Lapota, branch operations manager for credit; John Johnson, regional manager; Gary Canipe, district regional manager; and Gary Conway, business development manager, presented the award to co-owners Mike Saporito and New York Giants legend Jessie Armstead. Alexander was also in attendance along with Mike Fanning, general manager; Charles Saraco, CFO; Alan Green, general sales manager; Anne Panebianco, office manager; Horace Corlette, used car manager; Sales Managers John Carino and Carl Thompson; and finance team members Sean McHugh, Matt Andrews, Rebecca Morone, Luke Haug and Dan Balling.

After the trophy reception, the entire group celebrated the accomplishment over cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner at Spigola’s Ristorante in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.

The Council Of Excellence trophy has become known as a symbol of financial superiority in the automotive industry and will be proudly displayed in the Hamilton Honda showroom alongside its other trophies. Honda Financial Services recognized only the top 15 percent of Honda dealerships as worthy of the Council of Excellence award, placing Hamilton Honda in an exclusive position among dealers nationwide.
