July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Although most people need sunglasses to protect their eyes from glare, there are people who are not suitable for wearing glasses:

1. Glaucoma sufferers. For people who suffer from glaucoma, they need strong lights to reduce their pupils of their eyes and thus to reduce the intraocular pressure; once putting on sunglasses, the amount of sunlight that patients’ eyes can receive will reduce and their pupils will dilate, which block aqueous humor from flowing out of the eyes and thus cause the increasing of the intraocular pressure. The consequence is that the glaucoma sufferers will feel their eyes hurt very much.

2. Neuroretinitis sufferers. Wearing sunglasses may make the nerve conduction blocked to some degree and make the neuroretinitis even worse.

3. People with color blindness. When wearing sunglasses, it makes them even harder to tell the difference of colors.

4. Nyctalopia sufferers. Wearing sunglasses will make the eyesight of the nyctalopia sufferers decrease or even blind.

5. People with high myopia or high hyperopia.

But for those who suffer from cataract, keratitis, conjunctivitis, retinal detachment, wearing prescription sunglasses (http://www.finestglasses.com/sunglasses/prescription.html) may improve their conditions.
